Established to address the growing need for quality, structured music education in Guyana, Foundation 7 Music School serves as a premier academy for practical talent development. Our institution was built on a unique partnership of six dedicated musicians, vocalists and passionate believers who chose to anchor their collaborative vision with God at the center. This shared spiritual focus inspired both our core operating philosophy and our name, Foundation 7. Guided by the principle “Completely You,” we focus on helping students discover and refine their individual creative identities through disciplined, hands-on instruction. Lessons are taught by Foundation 7’s teaching team, all working from the same syllabus. Your child’s assigned tutor is confirmed when we place them in a class. Families receive a written progress report each term.
Our structured curriculum accommodates learners at all skill levels, providing comprehensive training tracks in keys, strings, percussion, and voice. We blend foundational technique with an accelerated learning approach that enables students to confidently perform basic melodies within their first two weeks of study. To meet the diverse requirements of our student base, we offer both collaborative group classes and tailored, one-on-one private tutoring led by experienced instructors. Beyond standard term-based classes, we actively support the wider Guyanese community through intensive youth development programs, including our annual summer music camps and regional creative events.
At Foundation 7, we remain committed to maintaining high corporate and educational standards, ensuring that every student receives the tools necessary to achieve long-term musical proficiency.
